Please read this terms of service document. You must agree to every statement in this document before proceeding. If you do not agree to any statement in this document, you may not use our messageboard service.

1.  Topics:
a) No messageboard will be issued to Warez, piracy related websites,  pornographic sites and discriminative sites. Discrimination includes: speaking against any  race, speaking against either men or women, speaking against any culture and any religion.  However, Boycott requests, protests and petitions are acceptable.  Warez and piracy include: giving or linking to illegal copies of software and "Roms", giving or linking materials related to cracking software security or copy-protection, giving or linking to serial numbers, cd keys, patches or any other such materials. Laws governing your location are also applicable on your messageboard.
b) No listed messageboard may contain any adult material.  Adult-oriented messageboards (other than those promoting pornography, which are prohibited) must be removed from our members list.  To remove your board from the members list, sign-in and go to Board Settings.

2.  Hacking:
No messageboard shall be used for hacking. Any single attempt to hack either alsprograms.com, atomicboards.com, or one of our affiliated, partnered, linked, supported or supporting sites will result in that account being deleted.   Any attempt to hack us result in the removal of your messageboard, and possible legal action against you.

3.  Fraud:
For users creating messageboards or forums on AtomicBoards.com: 
    Any false information sent to us during your sign-up process will result in your messageboard's removal.  This includes: fake e-mail addresses, fake names, and  fake payment information.  You must absolutely submit a valid e-mail address.  You do not need to have a website to use this service.
For users registering on a messageboard or forum on AtomicBoards.com:
    You are free to enter any information during your registration process.  The information you enter will be publicly viewable in your profile.  Only enter information you want to share.  Your e-mail address will only be used by us when you request e-mail notifications or password recovery services.  

4.  Ads:
Free messageboards have 3rd party ads and AtomicBoards.com ads on them.  Basic and Silver Plans only have small AtomicBoards.com ads.  We do not place ads on Gold and Platinum boards, unless permitted to do so by the owner of that board, or under other specific circumstances.  We reserve the right to add support banners on Free messageboards only, at any time and for any reason, or no reason at all. You may not cover our links and banners. If they are not visible on your messageboard, we will delete your account, with or without prior notice [depending on the situation]. 

5.  Moderators:
Moderators must monitor their forums for any content that is either a direct or indirect violation of this document. If a user notifies us of an offending message, the forum owner will be notified, and he or his moderators will have a maximum of 7 days to modify or remove the message. Failure to do so will result in the termination of  that messageboard.  Find responsible moderators, or do not create other Moderator accounts.

6. Inactivity:
Free Messageboards that are inactive for 12 months will be deleted, without notice.  Inactivity means that there have been no new messages posted in an extended period of time.  This paragraph DOES NOT apply to any messageboard on a payment plan (Namely: Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum.)

7. Payments and refunds:
a) All payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.  If you wish or chose to cancel your paid messageboard, you will NOT receive a refund for unused days.  If you violate this Terms of Service documents, and you have a paid board, you will be notified by e-mail, and given a week to modify and/or remove violating messages.  If nothing changes after 7 days, your messageboard WILL be deleted and NO refund will be given. 
b) If you fail to make a payment within 9 days of your cycle-expiry date, your messageboard will revert to a free board, and all extra settings/features will be lost.  

8.  Rights:
A. ATOMICBOARDS.COM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY AT ANY TIME.  We will only notify our members of major changes.  You should read this document periodically.

B. ATOMICBOARDS.COM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY MEMBER'S ACCOUNT THAT DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS STATED IN THIS TERMS OF SERVICE DOCUMENT, OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON, WITHOUT NOTIFICATION AND/OR WARNING.

C. ATOMICBOARDS.COM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE MESSAGEBOARD SERVICE IN ITS ENTIRETY, AT ANY TIME, AND FOR ANY REASON.  If AtomicBoards.com must shutdown, prior warning will be displayed directly on the top of the messagesboards.  

E. ATOMICBOARDS.COM WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING, INCLUDING LOSS OF INFORMATION, SERVICE DOWNTIME AND/OR INTERRUPTION, SERVICE MALFUNCTION, ERRORS, UNAVAILABILITY, HACKING, DEFACING, DDOS ATTACKS, SPAM AND SLOW CONNECTIONS.

Privacy Policy

1. Personal Information:

AtomicBoards.com requires a small amount of information from each individual using our service. This information will be kept strictly confidential. We will never sell your e-mail address, name, or website address to any advertisers. We will never give your information to any company whatsoever. We will only use your e-mail address to notify you of important updates, TOS infringement, and password requests. However, we do not take any responsibility for both lost information and stolen information. Use our service at your own risk.  

Your messageboard will be displayed, by default, in our member's listings.  Links to both your messageboard and your website will appear there.   If you do not want that information to be publicly displayed, please select "NO" in the Member's Listing option, in you board's settings.

Any information you enter in your profile will be seen by anyone who reads your profile.  Do not include information you do not wish to share in your profile.

2. IP Logging

Every post and reply left on each messageboard will be logged in IP lists.  This information may be viewed by the board owner and all moderators on the messageboard. We do not take any responsibility for misuse of this information.  For example- someone hacks your PC because your IP address was displayed in the IP logs.  IP logs are kept for security and legal reasons.

3. Payment information

If you are paying by PayPal, read PayPal's terms of service and privacy policies for more information.  PayPal will not share your credit card information with us.  Your mailing address, if available, will be kept in our personal records. It will not be available online.
